Youth Ministry

* Due to Covid-19 there will be no Youth Group meetings until further notice.*

Mission Statement:

Leading teens closer to Christ!

The St. Elizabeth of Hungary Youth Ministry is committed to the reality that young people are an important and integral part of our Catholic Faith Community. The youth program seeks to foster maturing in faith of the youth of our Catholic Faith Community and the surrounding community.

We affirm the gifts of our youth and we foster opportunities for young people to share their gifts with the larger community. The spiritual and social needs of the youth are to be met with the committed leadership, guidance and support of our Catholic Faith Community adults. The adults and youth of our Catholic Faith Community are therefore provided with the opportunity to grow together in Christian faith.

Through a variety of programs, events and outreach, we seek to draw young people into responsible participation in the life, work and mission of the Catholic Faith Community. We believe this ministry is to, with, by, and for young people and it is a blessing for the entire community.

Faith-Filled Young People
We pray for all young people, called to live life to the fullest; may they see in Mary’s life the way to listen, the depth of discernment, the courage that faith generates, and the dedication to service.

We hold in prayer all those infected with the COVID-19 virus and all those affected by war, their families and loved ones. We pray for the repose of the souls of those who have died. As a people of faith, we trust in the power of prayer and in the providence of our loving God; as a people of hope, we know that God will never abandon us in our need; and as a people of charity, we, despite our own fears and anxieties, stand in solidarity with all of our brothers and sisters.
